1st round editing of photos

6 Oct

Hooray~~ received my 50 album pictures, now in the midst of finalising the pictures. Some pictures i love it very much, some not so much. Had emailed the changes to the coordinator, now waiting for her reply. She is so slow la!!!! she didn’t upload my other 55 soft copies. In total i have 105 pictures, she only give me 50!
But i’m really impressed by their photography, Taiwan photography really rocks! ^^

I feel that both of us looks very young in this hairdo and outfit, the make up artist thought we are only 21-22 yr old.  *faint*

I like this pose, looks very cute and candid.

Day 2 photoshoot

27 Sep

Day 2 photoshoot
Reached the bridal shop at 9am, today’s bridal team was different from yesterday’s.

My make up artist doing my hair and makeup, check out those big rollers on my hair, this is how they create the curly wavy effect!

Nice big princessy bed for the guests to sit while waiting for the bride to try the gowns.

My hairdo for the first outfit!!! SUPER pretty! This is my top favourite hairdo out of the six. Acutally all 6 hairdos are very pretty as well! The little yellow flowers added a dreamy touch to the hairdo. I love it very very very much! :)

ps: i self-dyed my hair, Dear’s skill not bad lol. The colour looks nice in the picture, im afraid that it’ll be too brown for bridal’s hair.  I used Liese hair bubble dye in ash brown!

First location, 夢湖 (Dream lake), sounds dreamy :) :)

Need to climb up some steps to reach to the top, abit tiring luckily i’m wearing slippers. The bride infront wore track shoes underneath the gown!

Lighting assistant named 花生(Peanut) helping me to lay the dress nicely. I like the back drape!

Flipping the back drape~~ :)

Dear and Peanut lending their helping hands… its very difficult to walk in 4inch heels on these uneven rocks.

Getting on to the boat! The boat is very unstable and shaky, luckily there’s a person holding on to the boat. I don’t want to fall into the water!!!

NICE…………….

On the swing! The swing is not very stable, it’s only for photoshoot purposes.

Me on the raft playing with water… the water is very cooling! My dress is drenched… proceeding to the next location at Bei tou.

Bei tou, a sunny beach place! I will be staying at a five star hotel with in-room hot spring tub at night!

My 5th outfit, a toga white dress! It has a goddess feel hahaha. The place is very very hot! I became very tan during these 2 days of photoshoot.

My last outfit, a cutesy ballerina short gown.

Dear pretending to be the lighting assistant! LOL

By a small ‘lake’ This is actually big holes formed on the rocks, quite unique!

Us forming “LOVE”!! hahaha we are waiting for the sky to turn dark to take photos with the sparkles! Too bad the camera became low batt, didnt manage to take pictures of the sparkles!

Our feedback on the photoshoot :)

Dear and me are totally shagged with cramped mouths after 2 full days of photoshoot. However we really enjoyed ourselves totally, we felt as if we are VIPs and some tv stars (passerby snapped pics of us hahaha). They helped us to get food, drinks, wipe sweat, touch up, lending me (the bride is the queen for the day haha) a helping hand when the road/ground is uneven. They will also chit chat with us along the way so we wont feel as though we are strangers. Thumbs up for their 100% attentiveness and professionalism!

The bridal team made the whole photoshoot so memorable that it will be remembered dearly in our hearts even when its over.  *sob  sob* sad

In the end, we topped up alot of photos because we simply love it too much! The actual photos are hundred times better than all these candid pictures! I never regretted my decision of signing up this package with Blue-Bay Bridal, can’t wait for the pictures to be out! :)

shall blog about the rest of the trip soon…. :)

Im back!!!! what a memorable photoshoot!

26 Sep

Im back from Taiwan!!!!! Soooo sad that my holiday has ended !
I had a fruitful trip, my bridal team are extrememly friendly and funny people, they will crack funny jokes on our fake smiles and poses. haha I’m glad that my photos turned out to be even better than i have expected. Shall start blogging on my photoshoot first hee

Day 2
Today is gown choosing day! Arrived at the bridal shop at about 2pm to choose my gowns!! No photos taking again!! hmph!
The gown assistant selected some gowns for me to try. I tried about 12 gowns within 3 hours and decided on my 6 gowns. Quite fast i would say, i do not want to waste so much time on gowns selection. First look if I saw the gown that suits me, i will decide on it. As usual, dear did not help much, every piece i tried he said nice! -.-
Acutally I wanted more pastel colors gowns, however the assistant said that certain venues suit brighter colours gowns, she advised me to choose red or yellow gowns! Oh dear, i do not like to wear red or yellow, but after trying some pieces, one piece caught my eye. It is a bare-back criss cross design with flowing back drape. Looks quite ok on me, i particularly like the back drape. Well it was chosen as one of the 6 gowns. (This gown turns out to be one of my favourite coupled with the hairdo in the 2nd day photoshoot ^^)

All the gowns i have tried are gorgeous, its very easy to choose 6 gowns. The tailor took down my measurements and assured that the gowns will be altered to my size the next day! Very efficient! Went shopping after that! hohoho

I can’t really sleep that night as i am feeling very scared and excited for the photoshoot!
Day 3 photoshoot day
We reached the bridal shop at 9am in the morning for make up and hairdo. The make up artist for today’s photoshoot is call Baby! (sweet) She is very friendly and really skillful. She did not put dramatic makeup on me, rather, she focus on how to enhance the face. For example, she shaded my nose to look sharper, my face abit smaller, eyes bigger etc. After two hours, the end result was sooo nice. She kept saying i looked like Barbie Doll ( 巴比娃娃), hahaha all thanks to her skillful hands, i don’t look like barbie at all in real life. hee =p

We proceeded to the first venue at Yangminshan, it was a very very hot day.

I may look very smiley and happy, but actually im not! This place is infested with alot of mosquitoes and i could literally see them flying around me, trying to bite me when they have the chance. Forgot to bring my mosquito repellent! I’m extremely horrified! We took a few shoots and proceed to the next place. Phew~ I didn’t get bitten, but Dear did, he tried to shield me from the mosquitoes by flapping them away.

Thoughtful Baby helping me to put a piece of tissue to wipe my sweaty back :)

We happened to pass by an area that overlooked some moutains, stopped and took a few shoots! Love the scenery :)
The one wearing green is Kiwi, the photographer, wheras the one wearing white is Ah Zhen, lighting assistant! BOTH are super funny people. Even the weather was very hot on that day, both of them made us laugh and made the photoshoot so enjoyable! :)

They are kids at heart! hahahaha

I love this pink gown so much, its very princessy, my kind of style! ohoh forgot to mention that the tailor did a fantastic job, all the gowns fit me like a glove. So fitting to the extent if i eat anything, i will feel uncomfortable. :p

Proceeded to the next venue, which is my favourite place out of the many that i went. Flowers of all sorts~ Piano~ Windmill~ Its really an eye opener to see so many REAL pretty flowers all at once!!!

Dear lovingly feeding me Ice Chendol~ LOL. This white gown is my favourite too! Chose the most pictures from this series. The gown is very heavy due to the heavy and fluffy skirt! Nevetheless it’s a gorgeous and dreamy gown!

Baby finalising my hairdo, the hairdo looks puffy and cute hahaha…. just like the skirt!

Look at all her tools!!! Flowers hair pins of different colors! haha. The cosmetics she used are from high end brand, like Chanel and Estee Lauder, definately will not cause any breakouts on face!

Dear looks like some handsome prince charming playing the piano, i like guys playing piano~ ^_^ but hold on…the piano is fake! -.-

Love the super fluffy skirt! My legs are sweating because its sooooooooo hot. :(

The sunflowers are REAL, and they are very big too! So pretty!

Lavendars( correct?) hee… Sometimes when we unknowningly placed our fingers at awkward positions, or sticking out weirdly, Kiwi or Ah Zhen will point out to us and imitate how we placed it wrongly, haha it did look really weird. They are very observant!!!

I love this pose, looks so graceful lol! =p The piano and the the flowers made the picture so dreamy and perfect!

Changed to the blue evening gown =p the most revealing gown among the 6 gowns, plunging neckline and bare back!

Baby applying dark eyeshadow on me.
I wasn’t so comfortable wearing this plunging neck line gown initially, because i do not have big bust to carry off the look. However the nu-bra i wore is darn good in creating the fake “cleavage”, after some assurance from Baby and Dear, I felt great in it =p

Some famous local speciality at Dan Shui! Its very delicious! Beancurd tofu filled with tasty ‘Dong Fen’

Look at the bright sunlight! Its extremely hot, both of us are sweating!!!
Small sis joked that I look like some Slim Fit (Bust enhancing) model on TV! -.-

Spent abit of time to flip the dress correctly to give it a flowing impression. Its quite fun flipping the dress hahaha.

Look its 35 degree!!! DARN HOT!! oh dear~

I selected this picture as my album cover picture. The actual pic is about the same pose, just that it ended with a kiss. ^_^

Left the place at about 6pm, the sky has turned very dark already! Felt sad that day 1 photoshoot has ended, really enjoyed myself with this great team! They kept encouraging us ‘加油老公老婆’ when we are tired and hot. In the end, the pictures turned out to be super gorgeous, silly me was very worried the day before. :)

day 2 to be continued…..
