A feastful weekend :) + Tokyo Pink New arrivals

21 Mar

I had lots of good food over the weekend, faints, going to detox starting monday onwards.

Friday, dear and me had dinner at Waraku :)

The soup base for the paper hot plate is soooo yummy. Its spicy and yet sweet.

Hot plate cheese potato with roe. VERYVERY nice, i love cheese and this dish is perfect for me! Mix grilled meat tasted so-so only.

Sat night met up with Vic , Ryan and Gary to go JB to have our longgg-waited salted egg crab.

Some “starter” dishes before the main highlight! :)

Cereal Sotong! Yessh it is sotong not prawn. Super cripsy and tasty, love it.

Sambal Kangkong, beside it is hot plate tofu. There’s another Satay chicken wing that we ordered, but didnt managed to take pics! Nice too!

Here comes the main highlight!!!! OMG salted egg crab!!!

Verdict: FANTASTIC.
i love salted egg, during mooncake festival, those double yolk mooncake is a must-have for me.
At first the crabs have abit of chao-tah taste, but the boss is nice enough to re-cook the crabs for us. The re-cooked crabs are perfect! The taste is not saltish at all, mild salted egg taste with buttery gravy. First time eating this famous dish in JB, and its really finger-licking good!!!

If u think we have finished eating , u are wrong!!! lol

Vic suggested eating lok lok! YAY i love lok lok too! We left our car for car-wash and headed to the lok-lok van.

Look at the spread.

Strangely, our favourite food are all vege. Its really delicious and cripsy :)

What a fulfilling dinner+supper, =p lol, went home at 11plus. Can’t wait for the next dinner trip with them haha :D

photoshoot,JB dim sum

4 Aug

Fell sick on Monday, guess i was too tired over the weekend, landed myself with migraine headache! Got MC and slept the whole afternoon yesterday.

Fri
Went to bugis to shop for my wedding shoes on Friday evening, as much as i have expected, i didn’t find any shoes i like. I can’t seem to find anything in SG stores that i fancy nowadays.
At midnight, we drove into JB with his friends for Dim sum supper. We reached the place around 1am plus after an hour’s drive, the dim sum was nice especially the chee chiong fan wrapped with prawn and char siew.  So hard to resist  even when i’m on diet. Reached home around 3 am and i waited until 5am to sleep as to let the food digest. Gonna drink my Puri Tea for detoxing…

Sat
Went home to pack my stocks for Sunday’s photoshoot! To make up for my sinful supper on Friday, i didn’t take breakfast, have ramen soup for lunch, and only dishes(no rice) for dinner.

Sun
Photoshoot with Kit at my sister’s place! It was fun, Kit is getting better and better with all the poses and her expresssion! Love it! My photographer Michael is superb as well in directing Kit with all the poses and angles. :-)

Will upload all new arrivals on Saturday hee!

As September is approaching, my desperation in losing weight is doubling… gona work harder!

Yummy Food weekend~

29 Jun

Friday dear and I took leave and went out with his relatives. We had lunch at Waruku, very nice Japanese food! I tried my best to cut down on meat and ate ramen soup, however i had a few bites here and there hee. At night we went to tung lunk resturant at Central to celebrate his aunt 50th birthday. We are served 8-course meal, my stomach felt like its going to burst after eating. Of course i ate less meat and gave the yummy roast meat to dear unwillingly, hahaha.  :p

Saturday we went to IMM Giant with his parents and shopped there for 3 hours! *faintz* i can shop 3 hours for clothes and shoes, but not groceries! haha

I am so obsessed with losing weight recently that i bought this DHC diet drink from DHC japan online! It claimed can lose up to 4kgs in 2 weeks if taken regularly. The drink looks like some yummy milk shake, 5 flavours chocolate, strawberry, milk tea, banana and coffee. hope it helps! Shall update once i received it! =p

2.5 months to a princessy bride in Taiwan *day dream*, i can’t help but feeling excited already :) Shall work hard to achieve my ideal figure. =p

Post Valentine Day

18 Feb

Been busy for the past few days, no time to update on my valentine day. We went to Central Ma maison for our dinner, however we waited for 2 hours =.= Throughout the 2 hrs, i kept grumbling and complaining that why he didnt reserved the seats at the place earlier. To make matters worse, when i saw people carrying flowers which i didn’t have, my face became super black and bad tempered hahaha. His rationale is that buying flowers are waste of money, he said he rather spent the money on something else.  =.=

Finally we went into the restaurant at 9.30 pm, so hungry by then. Okay, he surprised me by giving me a present upon seeing my face as black as charcoal.  It is a necklace from Soo kee jewellery, the design i don’t really fancy that much but i am still quite happy =p =p .

The food at Ma Maison is so-so only, nothing fanstatic. The crab linguni that i ate on my birthday was so much nicer!

We went to catch “Curious case of Benjamin Button” after dinner.  The show lasted quite long, by the time it ended, it’s already 2.30am.

This is our 7th v day already, so fast times flies.  :)

Xmas 2008

30 Dec

SOOOOOO busy for the past 1 week, sorry for the lack of updates =p
Many pictures uploaded, i shall begin with the xmas eve, xmas and kukup trip.

24 Dec Christmas Eve
I am having half day work on xmas eve, followed by a buffet lunch. I won $100 robinson vouchers and $30 NTUC voucher for the xmas lucky draw. Not much, but for someone whom seldom never win lucky draws before, I am a very happy person hahahaha. Dear came and fetched me home first to rest before meeting up again at 7pm.

We went to the highly raved japanese resturant Minori to have our xmas dinner. This ala carte buffet cost us about $120 for 2 person due to xmas season. We ordered ALOT OF FOOD, look at the pictures and u knew what i meant. Dear and me ate until soooo full that we could barely leave the chair. haha. The food was super fresh especially the sashimi, Dear ate alot of them! He said the salmon was so fresh that it literally melted inside his mouth. I don’t eat raw so i can’t comment on that. The grilled meat balls, mackeral, unagi, chicken were all very delicious!  We stayed there for 2 hours before proceeding to vivo city.

We took pictures of the huge xmas tree at vivo city 2nd floor, so beautiful! :)

After that we chilled out at coffee bean while waiting for our movie to start at 12.30am. We watched “Bedtime stories”, however i think i fell asleep for 1/2 of the show because i am too tired.
Kind of wasted the money haha, dear said the movie was quite nice. After the movie, we drove to mount faber to take a look since it is near by. It was quite cold up there but i can have a birdeye view of singapore. Quite a pretty sight. Reached home at about 4am

25Dec Christmas

Slept until noon before going back to my house. Lazed around until evening time then we drove to east coast park. Its been soo long since i last visited east coast park, the place changed alot! We had our dinner at Carls Jr, a very nice place to chill out. We sat outside at the sofa seats and listened to the next door live band’s singing. Very nice ambience, i love it! hehe

At about 10plus we drove over to a small island called Keppel Bay to meet his camp friends for drinks.
The place is rather secluded as it belongs to some private property. We met his friends at a pub and have a couple of drinks. The scenery over-looking the pier is impressive, from the place we sat i can see the pier with alot of yachts and the bridge that resembles a tiny bit of the Lovers bridge in Taiwan. However the place is abit windy as it is raining soon. I don’t mind going there again next time!

We drove to Demsey road and went inside a little pub cafe to chill and play poker cards. We left the place at about 2am and went to adam road hawker center to have supper. Ate the mutton soup, tasted delicious, very spicy.
Reached home at about 4am again, those were the activities for this year’s xmas ^^

Aftermath of Clark Quay Bazaar

23 Nov

I reached home about 1.30am yesterday, the bazaar ended at about 12.30am, so tired! Friday night didn’t sleep well as i am busying prepare the things for the bazaar. I had a terrible experience with the cabs yesterday. Dear and I waited for 1/2 hour for a cab, many of the cabs did not want to drive us because we are carrying alot of things. It was raining really heavily and i am so pissed off, finally a cab stopped and we boarded it. Both of us were drenched inside out when we tried to put the things in the boot.

We reached the place at about 4plus, and started to set up the things. The place is much spacious than the PS bazaar. The organisers are very friendly, chatted with us and even served us bottled water and little snacks. Great customer service they had. The crowd only started to come in after 9pm, sales for that day was quite good ^^

Woke up very late today, spent the whole afternoon editing the pictures for Tokyopink’s new arrivals.
Ate lunch at northpoint new extension japanese foodcourt.

Omelette rice with black pepper beef patty, Nice!

Vege wrapped with egg and seafood!

Having monday blue again~~~

Movie marathon

3 Nov

Didn’t go out last weekend, as dear is busying doing assignment. Hai~ However i self-entertained myself by watching online streaming movies, watched 4 movies in 1 day hahaha. One of the most interesting movies i had watched is Stephen King’s “The Langoliers”. This movie was shown in 1995 and i remembered watching it when i was very young. The movie is about a group of people whom took a plane and fell into a twilight zone. They had to try to get of it before the “langoliers” ( teethy monsters) eat up the entire place. It is a 3hr movie, very interesting, not scary. I love science fiction movies! My younger sis is a complete werido, she loves to watch horror movies, the scarier the better, crazy girl.

Some pics taken last last saturday at kim gary at vivocity. Kim Gary is introduced by my dear friend Melanie. I like hongkong food and whenever i go vivo city, I will go to Kim Gary to have my meal.

I had pork chop baked rice!

Dear’s mushroom minced pork rice. Nicer than my baked rice =(

I wore a back-bare collar dress which i bought with shan shan @ Central =p

Some cute pictures of Kitty, always sneaking around =.=

Kitty and Tuffle. Cat and Dog can be best friends, no kidding!

Just took leave for this coming friday. I need to pack the clothes + accessories for Saturday’s photoshoot. My new stocks had all arrived, loved it so much. My elder sister already bought a dress from me, and i am intending to keep one for myself too =p This collection is not to be missed, stay tune for the updates =)
